Redhat, FireFox, middle click, bad things

My work box here seems to have an issue. Normally when I middle click a link, it opens the link in the new tab and when I middle click non-linked space it shows an error something to the effect of "the location is invalid" or something of that sort.
Well the problem is now when I middle click non-linked space, it takes me to a website. This website is a not-so-good website, especially for work machines. Never been there and I need it GONE before I get a friendly visit from HR because I mis-middle-click
Any ideas on where to look for where this behavior may be stored?

You might still have malware or some kind of browser hijack on your computer. I mean, you didn't set the computer up to call up a NSFW site when you middle-clicked something, did you?
I'd be contacting IT and reporting a potentially compromised computer. If you didn't change it, well, that just means someone or something else changed it.

The only thing in my clipboard is PERL
And yes I'm contacting IT, I just wanted to do it before they contacted me. This started today and the only sites I've been to are here, craigslist and gmail
