I just recently started wearing contacts, although I've needed glasses for the better part of at least 10 years and never looked into getting a pair.
Anyway - I just purchased my first set of contacts after my trial pair, along with some lens solution, but it just so happens that I forgot everything in my glove box for the better part of the day (maybe 5-6 hours?)
The solution (Solo care aqua) indicates that it should be stored at no more than 30c / 86f ;
My question is as follows:
What's the worst that could happen?
Edit: It was maybe 25c or so today, and it was in my glovebox

It's fine.
You'll be fine

When I read the thread title.. I thought it was going to be another Clear Care Incident.
For future reference, Clear Care is not a saline based solution, it is peroxide based. It is, however, sold among saline based solutions in a very similar container. It comes with its own lens case which you MUST use - the included case contains a metal that produces a reaction that neutralizes the solution (after minimum 6 hours), turning it from burning, eye dissolving acid into something that won't make you scream like there's the fire of a thousand suns in your eye.
For the record, yes you can call me an idiot for not reading the instructions before using... but when you've used solution for YEARS (3 different kinds), and one day your wife has purchased you a different kind - you might not even notice.. and you certainly don't waste time reading instructions. Also to note, Clear Care packaging and bottles now come with BIG RED markings... back when it happened to me, this was not the case!
The internet is full of Clear Care Incident stories - most where the result was much more serious than mine. I just clawed at my burning eye for about 2 minutes trying to get it out before succeeding and then rinsing desperately (it is incredibly difficult to open your eye when its being dissolved). Some people required medical intervention to save their vision.
