League of Legends may seem like fun, especially at early levels. However this game is actually poisonous. The community for this game is probably the lowest quality of human life on the planet. You will eventually run into level 30 players who make what is known as "smurf" accounts. These skilled individuals make accounts with one purpose in mind. To make themselves feel good by stomping new players. These players consider themselves "saviors" because they're teaching beginners to learn the game faster, when in reality this alienates people from wanting to play. Professional teachers and educators know that people learn little by little. skill in a profession or a hobby is not something learned overnight. If the lesson is "too much" people in actuality do not learn.
When you hit level 30, you will have to deal with poor quality individuals on both sides. The game means everything to them and they will go as far as to give you real life death threats (yes this actually happened in one of my games). They demanded to know my address and state.
League of Legends is a wonderfully designed game, with a great staff. However a great game can be ruined my competition. It is one reason i despise competitive gaming. People cannot handle it. So to Gabe and Tycho, enjoy it now but you will save yourselves a great deal of time and frustration if you avoid this game and play something less frustrating. And trust me, if you haven't learned it now...you will.

Also, Gabe and Tycho don't read the forums. At all. Khoo sometimes drops by to give away free games, but I'm pretty sure he doesn't read the forums either.
