I'm fairly upset that Netflix removed that Louis C.K. show.
Don't get upset at Netflix, blame FX and their whole "we hate the internet" stance.
Except Rescue Me, Archer, The League, Sons of Anarchy, and Nip/Tuck are all available online.
Only 30 days after they first air, and not on Hulu (current season)
But yeah, Netflix hates the streaming service and has been trying like hell to get away from it and focus on mail-order discs only. I bet they love randomly taking stuff off the streaming service just for shits and giggles
I think you have it backwards. I heard Netflix would like to get out of the physical media / dvd rentals business.
Also, is it true that Peep Show is now available for instant streaming?

The full first season of Archer is on Netflix, but for the second season, only episodes 1, 2, 3, and 6 are available anywhere legally.
Well yeah I mean they want you to watch it on the network first or buy the DVD's I don't expect them to just dump everything on Netflix immediately that's just silly.
Not many ISPs love Netflix streaming stuff, though
and a lot of the networks/production studios are also not huge fans of it. It will be interesting to see what happens when a lot of the current rights deals need to be reupped because the price Netflix will have to pay to stream some of this stuff is going to go way up

OK, redacted, then.
Your sarcasm didn't sound sarcastic enough.

a sharply ironical taunt; sneering or cutting remark: a review full of sarcasms.
Unless you really like your current primetime network shows or are a classic movie cinephile, that shit is awful.
Yeah, I did the free month trial to get caught up on 30 Rock, but once the month was over, I cancelled. It's not a terribly good service.
I was not pleased to find out that it didn't eliminate, or even seem to reduce the number of commercials in tv shows.
And, it didn't seem to actually many more shows? It looked like it just saved me the delay from air date. The primary advantage it offers, is streaming through the Xbox, whereas my current shitty Playon streamer is awful and I basically can't ever rewind anything on Hulu.
I have seen Toy Story 1 and 2, Helvetica, Metropolis, and This Film is Not Yet Rated since I restarted the service. Netflix gets all the <3s.
I was a bit disappointed in Helvetica. Despite the director's most valiant efforts, it failed to convince me that a particular typeface has had a significant impact on anything other than making some posters look rather samey for a while. It was interesting to get an inside look into how typefaces are designed, though.
This Film is Not Yet Rated was pretty great. The whole side-plot with the two 'detectives' was a bit silly, but the rest of the movie was really fascinating

Like I said, I bought it without researching and what I got was a lot of shows I don't really watch that are already on Hulu, only with more episodes. Basically, if for some reason you want to be able to watch every single episode of the office at any time, plus like maybe a dozen other shows that are maybe worth watching, then it's for you.
If you don't like the shows that have been on Hulu basic for the last three years anyway, then don't get Hulu plus.
Go under H+'s "Top Movies" list. It's a fucking joke. Anything that IS worth watching is already on Netflix, sans commercials and probably in a higher resolution. I was blown away when I saw commercial breaks distributed evenly throughout the H+ episodes, by the way. I'm not one to complain about ads, but it was a surprise. Like I said, unless you really dig classic mid century films, or for some reason get a hunch to watch 160 episodes of family guy, don't bother.

I just couldn't believe I was watching a documentary about a font. it was okay, amazing how some people are just so into fonts.
I used to work in a university studio arts building, and some of the shit students would display with regard to fonts was crazy. Often it would be some blown up letter, but with each serif and curve and the like carefully laid out like a construction plan. Geometry and angles and dotted lines and protractors abound. Each line looked like a geometry problem.

May as well put Justified & The Walking Dead on there too. Thanks.
Tone is often difficult to infer in a purely textual setting.

I'll just buy it on Blu-Ray. The last two season were worth every penny.

The last part is a huge punch in the gut. The theatre I was in became incredibly silent for a minute and no one made a move to get up.
I had to watch this for Documentary Studies last semester
we watched two equally devestating documentaries before it
that
was not the best day I've ever had
Right?
This is a good choice.
Also, I hate the new format.
I'd say watch Black Dynamite but they took it off instant Friday
Everyone enjoyed themselves on the Ostfront
Nope, still just 1 and 2
Just when you thought we couldn't milk this franchise any more.
