Torchlight troubles

In torchlight in the 6th level of the Shadow levels my character has managed to get trapped in a pocket of rubble after killing the occupant of same now I cannopt seem to get him out and able to explore further? Any ideas to get him moving again? I tried using various skills to try to bounce him free of the rubble and tried to walk him out but the best I can do is shuffle him a couple steps back and forth then he will not move further?

    No town portal scrolls?

    Assuming you're on the PC, you can try fixing it with a console command
