Monsters Vault?

Just curious is the monsters vault worth purchasing. I am running shadowfell keep campaign and they do not sell models that are easy to find. Is this worth the purchase?

IMHO the best monster product 4E has produced is the Monster Vault. It may not be a hardcover regular sized book, but not only does it update iconic monsters to represent the new monster math, it also features some excellent fluff, which was sorely missing.

The adventure that comes with it is surprisingly good as well.

The Vault's got good monsters and a whole bunch of tokens, so yeah, probably. The Shadowfell box might be worth a look too, but other people will know better than I do.

What shadowfell box are you referring to?

This one. I've no idea if it's worth getting, which is why I pointed you at the 4e thread.

Shadowfell box is very much fluff and ideas for DMs. A few encounters and monsters but not really a huge amount of rules stuff. It is also very focused on the city of Gloomwrought.
