Ok, no fancy op for this because in the distant past i've made two awesome ops, and they were both lost in forum crashes =p

What is it?
Bloodbowl online via a free java client. Bloodbowl is kinda like football only the teams consist of rats ,ogres,elves,goblins etc. And the object of the game is far more often to smash the other team into oblivion rather than score touchdowns.
The plan is to play via www.fumbbl.com which automically records results of games, lets you hire new players to your team and tracks deaths, injuries etc. go over to their website, create an account than create a team in the UNRANKED division so we can play with each other.
The best teams for new players are generally humans or orks, both of which play a decent passing game with the orks being a bit more bashy centered
The official fumbbl irc channel where games are setup is irc.fumbbl.com:6667 i'll be sitting in the #pa channel on that network, most likely alone crying to myself
if anyone needs help or wants to play.

You can download a pdf of the rulebook that fumbbl uses here The java client takes care of pretty much everything automatically, but knowing the rules gives you a huge edge.
The client can be downloaded from http://geocities.com/javabbowl/Articles/WhyDonate.html download the 8.8a full install, extract it to a folder then download the 8.9 patch and extract it to the same folder.
Ok ok, it doesn't look like much, but it plays like a dream, and it has goblins with pogo sticks and chainsaws, what more could you ask for? You can also use things such as Ogres to throw the afor mentioned golbins across the field.

Also, the fumbbl site is fugly now.
you can change it to look mostly like it used to somewhere in your profile..still a change for the worse though..it took me like 20 minutes to figure out how to get to my team overview with the new setup =p

A Halfling team with a treeman is barely a Halfling team at all. Real men stay racially pure. The Pondridge Puddingcups were never short of someone wanting to play them. I feel they never got the attention they deserved from me though (only played one game??), so I could happily bring them out of retirement.
You may get a better response in Of Dice and Men, would the mods be cool with you cross-posting this?
