My wife brought home from her work a monitor that they weren't using anymore because they thought it was faulty. I've worked out that it only needed a new cord, so I'm trying to set up triple monitor support for my system. My ATI card, despite having four ports, only supports dual monitors, so I'm trying to use the onboard graphics that my motherboard offers for the third monitor, but can't seem to get it working. I've been digging through the BIOS and manual with no success.
I'm thinking the motherboard just automatically shuts off the onboard video when a discrete card is added to the system, but wanted to run it by you folks first.
Worst case scenario, I figure this just gives me a reason to get another video card to run the crossfire setup I've been eying for a while, but if it doesn't have to come to that, I'm sure my wife would be grateful.
The issue is that Eyefinity only works if at least one of your monitors is using Display Port. Which, unless your monitor supports DP natively, you'll need an active adapter.
You can also do it with your integrated graphics. Your motherboard (according to Newegg) supports Hybrid CrossfireX, so what you'll need to do is enable the IGP in your BIOS, and then enable Crossfire in Catalyst.

Though I have managed to disable my audio somewhere along the way, so now I need to figure out what setting I accidentally clicked.
