Upgrading Macbook integrated GMA X1300 without Snow Leopard

Hey guys, I'm running Mac OS version 10.5.8, Torchlight won't stop crashing, apparently there is an upgrade to the integrated graphics in Snow Leopard (OS v 6.x) that fixes the crashes, but I'd rather not spend 30 dollars if there's a way to manually find this update somewhere just for the graphics.

Is this possible on a mac? It's days like this I miss PC.

Thanks!

I think you're boned. Intel doesn't release updated drivers for OS X that I can tell, so the only way to get them is through Apple. If someone hasn't posted a work-around on the Torchlight forums, I'm not sure what to tell you.

I think you'll probably need 10.6 to get 10.7 anyway.
