Audio woes (audiwoes?) [LOCK please, I figured it out]

So, I reinstalled Windows on my computer. Everything seems to be working fine (aside from my own stupidity about a graphics card thing), except sound.

I have a "Multimedia Audio Controller" listed as an "Other device" in Device Manager, but the Windows 7 "automatically grab your drivers" thing has failed me. The sound ports are on my motherboard, but my usual tool for identifying what motherboard I have (Everest) is just throwing back "Unknown".

Does anyone have any suggestions for what I can do?

If you know the model of motherboard, you should be able to retrieve the driver from their website.

Alright, I figured out the motherboard and grabbed the driver. (CPU-Z, kids)
