counter strike 1.6

Greetings, I lurk on these forums quite a bit but don't really post. I was told by a friend that if I requested 1.6 someone would be awesome enough to send me the game to my steam account. I had the game way back before steam took over sierra licencing for it and just recently wanted to play some 1.6 again. If anyone has a spare copy they could send me through steam I would surely appreciate it.

    you could just buy counterstrike source for 5 dollars on steam.... its on sale....

    right but I would prefer not to pay for it. And I would prefer the person who gives it to me not to pay for it -- directly for me-- either and instead just happen to have an extra copy they bought a while back and never used. Not to mention, I don't want source I want 1.6.
