Now you know why the series is called Annservice. I begged Gabriel to end the series this way, because I felt confident it would be awesome, even though it’s a fairly (inappropriate word for this thread) supplication of the reader somewhat outside the Gag Strip Milieu. I especially appreciate him letting me have Panel 3, particularly since he isn’t a fan in the least and may even be the opposite of a fan. Usually that term would mean something like “opponent,” but in this case I think it clearly means villain.
This strip really is literally just fanservice for fans of Ann and the various properties her cosplays are derived from. There is no joke at all.
Which is fine I guess. I would have liked to see the series end on a higher note.
Amy Pond is a low note?
Complete lack of a joke is a low note, especially since the series had been pretty amusing up to this point. Amy Pond, and anything else to do with Dr. Who (if that is where she is from), I really couldn't care less about one way or the other.

Amy Pond is not a low note.
And Ann should look like Amy from now on.
And, I hardly ever say this, but... adorable.
Oh brilliant

The most adorable thing.
It doesn't need a joke. It's motherfucking heartwarming as shit.

there's a "joke", but it's not a HAW HAW GUFFAW joke, it's a "dressing up and saying goofy stuff" joke
it's three jokes. i guess. as a not fan of dr who i don't like pond being the ender since i had no clue who that was, but dr who's been around the longest so it probably the most well known I think so i see why it would be the closer.
My niece is Indian from her mother and African American/African/ and a little Native American from my brother. I know she will be cute and I know I will have an appropriate costume for her for when she need's one. What's the smallest size they make Leia buns?

I prefer to believe you didn't have to write that.

Well, I guess there's no dreaded continuity

How else would we know it's Sci-Fi if it doesn't have "Star" in the name?

Can't help but feel Warhammer 40k should get a shout out.

Kind of clunky.
And yeah, adorable comic. Makes me want a younger family member I can occasionally take responsibility for.
