Codex Alera I think would make better movies. The stories seem to fit movies more than Sandman. But they would be awesome. Especially Captain's Fury and Princeps Fury.

I know they tried to do a Dresden Files series at one point that wasn't very good (Never saw it myself), but I kinda wish they'd try again.
The problem with the Dresden Files show was they just kind of ignored the basic rules of the Dresden universe. Miscasted really badly also. Like Dresden was fine but Murphy was tall and dark haired. Just didn't fit. Her look is as much a part of her characters as her personality. Really I wouldn't mind a Dresden files show but I don't think they know how to do it after the first try.
