iTunes just auto-updated itself out of existence?

So this morning when I turned on my PC, my iTunes auto-updater popped up and told me there was a new version available and would I like to download it. I clicked yes and ran the download. When it was finished it told me I had to restart my PC for the chances to take effect. Upon restarting the computer, all of my iTunes shortcuts were dead and the program appears to have nuked itself off of my computer. My desktop icon didn't work, my quick launch didn't work, my start menu shortcut didn't work, and there doesn't seem to be an .exe in my iTunes directory.
Anyone else run this update today and have a similar problem? Do I need to just redownload the whole thing?
