The transition team has drafted a new document of Guiding Principles and New Rules for our community. These rules will go into effect on November 25. 2024.
Man, I just realized how screwed up my work out schedule has become in the last week. Between Tarranon being here and starting school. Time to do the quick one today, tomorrow look at the gym and make a schedule and hopefully a time for them to show me the machines. Because I haven't used any weight machines since high school.
Eat a great deal of calories- start at 3,000, stay there for two weeks, add more if you aren't gaining. Consume at least 200g/protein per day. Lift weights, with a focus on compound lifts- which involve multiple large muscle groups. Deadlift, squat to parallel or below, bench press, and if you have someone who can teach you proper form, do the olympic lifts. Get enough sleep.
Voila.
Okay
tips on calculating calories and protein?
I have literally no idea if I'm eating healthy or not. My eating habits are sort of wierd.
What do you mean, calculating them? Do Norwegian foodstuffs not contain nutritional labeling?
yes, but the traditional norwegian unit of "chunk of bloody raw goat" does not convert to calories well

It's all pretty weird for an easter egg in the most widely used application we maintain. It barely qualifies as an easter egg, even. It's just... right there.

chest is done, break is done, time to do my biceps
stupid deadline
probably should have lifted weights anyway, not as if that would have made me less productive
You stop in the middle of exercise to post on D&D?
maek poast....
seriously, though, I take breaks while benching to let the muscles recover a bit. Although I think I'm risking them cooling down too much with ten-minute rests, perhaps.
Dangit, someone's been weabooing up these armor wiki's. No, I don't need to know the japanese samurai equivalent to every piece of european armor I'm looking up :P
Okay, so my division has its own time tracking application developed by my predecessor. Today, my coworker found an easter egg where, if you click the government seal, the image rotates through a series of anime girls, and sometimes other cartoon pictures with the head of high-level division personnel imposed over them.
daaaamn dude. make sure lots of higher ups know about this right quick on your terms so you don't get the blame when they eventually find out.
Back in high school when I lifted, I would take like 5 minute breaks mostly because my friend and I would swap on the machines. Especially the bench since we spotted for each other.

My coworker and I showed it to my supervisor, and she's removing it right now.

My sister can see the USS Intrepid from her office window. That means she will be able to look out and see a Space Shuttle while at work. That is so not fair.
Hope is the first step on the road to disappointment.
My weight lifting pace has always been pretty brutal. I'd rotate sets back to back with my friend and when done, on to the next machine. The longest break we took was to walk over to the drinking fountain and take a few gulps.
Of course, we were generally operating under pretty strict time restraints so, there ya go.

Man. I miss having a gym buddy.
I wish I had a gym buddy. I've always had to work out alone. Course, I'm not working out at all right now...

The only problem is, here, a centrist is a liberal. Any further left and you're practically a Commie.

There was one about Hercules in the early 00's.
If you're offering free room and board, I'm there.
Also, god, I am such a nerd. I've been stuck reading about historical armor for a good hour now. I'm geeking out of lance rests right now.

Start by lifting them and then don't stop until they're off the ground.
