Just before December, I scored a new Sony WEGA SDTV from Sears. After unpackaging it, I noticed I had not just the regular video-audio jacks but S-Video and Component jacks as well. A visit to Gamestop later, I hooked my Gamecube to the S-Video and PS2 to the Component. However, playing games like Zelda:WW and FFX-2, I've seen some blur and double-image on the characters and scenery. Is there any way to fix this or am I simply noticing something now I never did with the regular video hookup I used to use?
I've got my 360 and Wii hooked up to a SDTV through component and I've never seen anything like that, so I don't think you're noticing something that you didn't before because of the input.
Pardon the minor derailment, but I don't want to create too similar a topic- I've recently procured a PS2, but since there's no practical way of playing the thing on a TV here I want to hook it up to my computer.
Now, I've already ordered a PS2 S-Video cable, but before I grab myself a tuner I've a question- how exactly does the audio output work on such a cable? Do I need to buy a special tuner that not only has an S-Video input, but also special audio plugs? Or do I need some sort of PS2 audio -> line-in conversion thing for my soundcard?
And, while we're at it, is there risk of serious latency come internal tuners? I'm avoiding an external firewire/USB ones simply because I suspect the delay would be just large enough to fuck up rhythm games and alike. And I want my Gitaroo Man, damnit.

just get a VGA-Box. Lets you hook up yoru console to a VGA equired monitor, and you can hook up your sound to computer speakers
LCD monitor. Unless the thing can output to arbitrary resolutions and handle deinterlation and alike it just wouldn't look as good. I'd just like to know how the audio's handled so I don't need to spend an extra week after the cable's arrived looking for a 3rd piece of gear to get that working.

All you need is a cable like this this to plug the sound into your computer's line-in. Some capture cards and tuners have RCA audio input, though.
Also, with a PCI tuner/capture card supported natively by Dscaler, there'll be no delay. That's what I use, and half the games I play are rhythm games.
