I just adjusted the truss rod on two basses! I almost passed out from holding my breath and clenching my butthole! TRUSS ROD ADJUSTMENT IS FUCKING SCARY!

I used to play baritone horn (treble) and clarinet in high school
I stopped because they weren't my instruments so I didn't have access to them after graduating
I want to learn guitar and drums and bass and every instrument but I don't have any money to buy them and my friends are dicks that won't let me borrow their guitars they don't ever play

I sold my guitars, sax, and theremin to pay rent or some shit. Still have a fretless bass and the world's worst acoustic guitar. Almost bought a banjo and then I lost my job. I can dig up links to a bunch of bands that are a million years old for nobody to click on.

What if you yourself are not musically gifted at all but you have a friend who is a musician? Can you just talk about that instead?

I do own a harmonica and can play the first two lines of Buffalo Girls on it, for what it counts

Me and some friends made a band, Morning Banana Diet. (We were originally called Face In Need of Fist, but the singer read the words Morning Banana Diet in a Cracked article, thought it sounded awesome, and changed the name on the spot to that. True story.)
I just found out this week my 6 year old nephew can play the piano. So now I'm figuring out how to learn to play piano. This boy cannot outdo me this early. This just will not stand. Also, who doesn't want to play the piano? Also, who doesn't want to play the piano with their 6 year old nephew?
Just got a job too. So lessons I guess? Lessons seem like a good place to start. Though I never took them for any other instrument I play.
I was in a band once, I still don't know why, or how.
I was just approached by a girl who was a friend of a friend that I knew from school, and asked to be in her boyfriends band, I tried to explain that I had no musical talent whatsoever but they just brushed over this completely.
He seemed more focused on a band profile for the internet than any musical progression, and when he wrote about me he was describing me as some enigmatic, powerful giant of a man (I think he said I was 6'7 or something), full of confidence and metal cred.
I tried to correct him about my height (I was probably between 6'2 and 6'4 at that point), and he said it didn't matter, and that more people would come see our shows if he said I was taller.
One day he just stopped calling to tell me when the next band practice was, and I didn't care enough to try and get in touch with him.
My old band is in my sig, we might do more stuff if I ever make it back to Australia. I've recorded some covers with @Feebsicle and would like to do more, they are here with her other rad stuff: http://soundcloud.com/feebie
I've been terrible at finding anybody else to work with in Vancouver but hopefully over the next year I'll find some dudes to write with again.
I have a Squire Strat - was a gift when I was 14 or so and told my parents I wanted to be a rock star. Then they got me a Dean acoustic a few years later. I wish I played them better than I do, especially after all this time.

whammo
Didn't really keep that up after I graduated.
But a flute player I went out with was a fan of what it did to my lips.
Here's our song, Blackie Chan. I provided the hippy sounding guitar during the solo.
Yes, it is awful. Just try not to ridicule me into tears, pwease

we were in an internet cover band
But I never learned how to play it so I sold it to a friend who now uses it all the time.
I think it ended up a net positive
