Anyone that liked the first one - the London Philharmonic Orcestra's Greatest Video Game Music 2 is on sale at Amazon for 3.99. I'm on my first listen so I can't really judge, but the first was pretty good.
    http://www.amazon.com/The-Greatest-Video-Game-Music/dp/B009XTXLDM/ref=sr_shvl_album_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1352215506&sr=301-4

Thank you! I was just wondering to myself yesterday if there was going to be another one.

Also found a $5 Amazon MP3 credit if you sign up for Scott products share values (email, name, birthday, etc. could probably fake most of it).
Direct link here. Use a valid email, that's where the Amazon code gets sent. I just signed up and bought the album and am ready to get my music on!

That's exactly how I got it too. It's pretty good. I favored some of the more fun stuff in the first like Mario/Zelda/Angry Birds/Tetris - but the Sonic Suite is pretty good, the Wind Waker track is great and even though I never played the game through the Final Fantasy song is good.

So that album is, in fact, a sale price and not the regular price? I wonder how long it goes for.

Just on the off chance that someone hasn't bought any Valve games, Gamefly is having a sale on some of them. I assume they are Steam, because if they weren't how nuts would that be? gamefly.com/download-games/search/?kw=ValveWeek&pf=1100&cid=vlvgf110612&stop_mobi=once#.UJnILcXA8hx

From what I remember, they were at a 50% discount once. Otherwise, they never go on sale.

Yes. And the $30 games are a limited-quantity, no raincheck deal that starts Midnight Friday...

edit: the PS3 bundle is Midnight Friday, too.

edit more: The Xbox and 3DS bundles aren't on the Midnight Friday page, but the fine print says "other items" are subject to the same conditions, so they might be, too.

We go out black friday just about every year. It's fun. People are usually super nice and friendly and we generally get what we want. The past two years though my wife has gone to bed early, I've stayed up super late for the online stuff and then she goes out in the morning while I sleep. It's really not as bad as people think though - there's a weird comraderie with the other shoppers. I don't see much we're going out for this year yet.

Wonder if there's any way you can trick a clerk to ringing up the Wii U version of AC3?

I did that once with the GC version of Beyond Good and Evil, when the ad technically only said the PS2 version was on sale.

How much does that Vita CoD bundle go for normally?

I had no problem walking in to various stores last year in the middle of the afternoon and getting AC:Rev, Ace Combat, Uncharted 3 and I don't even remember what else at their sale prices. Some of that could be the rural-ness of the area, but I doubt it... people flocking that early in the day are going for the 10 TVs and 6 laptops that are available, not the crapload of titles of a video game in stock.

Paid $142.00 (not counting the o rings was WASD) for my Ducky Shine with Blacks and couldn't be happier. Of course I'm of the opinion that they two things you touch and use the most ie the KB&M should be things that are comfortable and a joy to use and mech KB's are utterly fantastic and in general worth every penny.

Granted you don't have to pay nearly that much to get a solid mech board. I wanted to get a fully back lit key board with black switches and media keys and those are very rare and oft expensive.

I detest everyday I have to come to work and type on this shit KB.

Nah I'm pretty cheap as well.

I needed a new keyboard cuz the one I had was years old, looking pretty grody, and didn't want any bells and whistles like a button that you can accidentally press that'll put the computer in sleep mode.

is it mechanical? it doesn't appear so, meaning it isn't equivalent to what's being discussed

and if it doesn't have a ps/2 connection, key conflicts would cause problems in some of the games i like to play

these are some reasons that that keyboard is sixteen dollars and other keyboards that people who are not you might prefer are more expensive; $64 for a keyboard the latter group would find acceptable is a Pretty Good Price

hopefully this has enlightened you somewhat

You folks aren't even speaking the same language. There's a huge thread on it over in the tech tavern if you are interested, but in summation, there is a fairly robust world out out there of keyboard options and how the switches work. That stuff matters a lot to some people. Suffice it to say, 64$ for a decent mechanical keyboard is an excellent deal.

If you have only typed on dome membrane keyboards you are probably missing out on a wonderful experience. I've seen one person shrug, but everyone else I have introduced to cherry switches has been enchanted with the feel and customization.

My two copies of The Last Story arrived today, courtesy of Amazon.

Getting the game for $8 was great in itself, but I was surprised to find out that both copies were the Game+Soundtrack+Art Book versions. Are these bonuses included with all NA versions of the game, or is this a limited edition run?

In truth I have one of the games up on eBay. It's already hit past $10, which is an immediate profit since I only paid 33 cents for one of the copies (using reward points). I need to check if I've got the right version listed, or I might lose out on making more money off of it.

I'll probably grab fes since I don't have a ps2 anymore and I never finished the game on disk. I wish 1/2 were ps1 classics and they'd put 4 up, then nocturne, then dds, then the devil summoner games...
