I have a question about an odd issue regarding the movement of the cursor on my laptop, and sometimes on my desktop. When I'm typing into a window such as this, if the cursor is outside the typing area, every now and then the blinking line that indicates where you are typing, will suddenly jump to the cursor's position - at least, I can no longer type, and the mouse cursor has a tiny, tiny flash, as if resetting it's position in that area. If the cursor is located somewhere in the typing area, such as over a piece of text, it will jump to that position. I have a Dell Inspiron 6400, where I use the integrated keyboard and touchpad. But it also sometimes happens on my desktop, which uses a Microsoft Wireless keyboard and mouse.
It's extremely annoying when you're typing in a limited area and you have to bring the cursor back down to the typing area. Is this a known problem? And is there a fix?
...and I thought of how all those people died, and what a good death that is. That nobody can blame you for it, because everyone else died along with you, and it is the fault of none, save those who did the killing.
