A long time ago I ran across a post somewhere here, I think it was D&D, that had tons of really interesting graphs and sourced statistics about the highest marginal tax rate, it's decrease in the latter half of the 20th century, and various correlations and associated trends and effects. I think it was like 3-4 pages long at least. I swear I had a link to it but mybe the great forum switch broke old links, because one of the links I have is broken and the others seem to have been redirected.
