Its Labor Day in America, and what a better way to celebrate the end of summer and the start of fall and a new school year than by plopping on the couch and watching a bunch of crap on TV?

I plan on recording and watching Cinemax all day tomorrow, starting at 8am they will be running Star Trek I-VI + First Contact until 10pm. I've never seen any Star Trek (except for JJ Abrams' movie), I figure its as good a place as any to start.

But that's not all that's available for your viewing pleasure today:

If you get the channel Chiller, they'll be running a Buffy the Vampire Slayer marathon (the series, not the movie on loop) starting now
MTV is running a Jersey Shore marathon (which is probably a regular occurence anyway) from 9-9
Travel channel is running a No Reservations thon from noon to 3am
FX is gonna run a HIMYMthon
And Spike is running its bimonthly Star Wars marathon.

Oh, yeah, there's also the last hurrah for barbecueing and going to the beach/pool etc. etc. but who wants to go outside.

    I don't have a TV yet...next month, though!

And yeah, I'm working until 0700, then I'm back again tonight at 11. I don't get my "holiday" until next week.

They should have Twilight Zone marathons on every holiday.

Can't care about an all day TV fest unless it is Twilight Zone, Old western movies and shows, or old ass SVU episodes several times a week.

Dear TV channels please run a marathon of Friday Night Lights tomorrow because I want to watch it but I don't want to have to get up to switch the discs all day

I'll be working most of the day. Also I work a double/split shift the next day so I'm going to bed early.

I'll probably play some league of legends though!

I'm watching Episode 3 on Spike and I've always wondered whether Order 66 was a mental trigger for the clones or if they've known about the order the entire time and were just waiting for the go ahead to kill the jedi.
