    Zombies only have the most basic of motor functions. I don't think the ability to hit a full sprint is one of them. Though I guess they would be able to shamble less slowly than their decomposing counterparts.

    Pfft. A lot people are just barely able to shamble to the toilet when they wake up. I'm supposed to believe some 3% brain using chomper who just came back from the dead can move at anything considered a rapid pace? And God help them if they died in a postion that made their legs or feet fall asleep.

    And that still depends on "waking up" before rigor mortis kicks in.
