Looking for something pretty specific here - anyone have success with light blocking skylight shades? I have a skylight in our bedroom that will wake us up at 5am with the sun - looking for something that will make things as dark as possible. The skylight is like 20' off the floor (the room has a loft) and is not really accessible without crazy ladders. Looking to buy and have some pro install - but my wife does not believe me that you can get light blocking skylight shades as you can window shades/blinds.

PA Forums would not let me title this thread btw. Kept replacing my title with Undefined.

I haven't personally used them, but I believe VELUX is a good brand. Mostly because they use a serif typeface in their logo.

There are kinds that roll into place when you swivel a little hook with a giant rod. They are a horrid bitch to get the hook on, in my experience, but they exist and work.
