I hated it at first but as I use it more I've gotten used to it.

Switching the controls to non-inverted made it a lot easier. I think this was the cause of most of my frustration

The thing I dislike about the remote batarang is that there is literally one use for it, most other gadgets you can use in different ways and in combat, the batarang is just, control a shitty plane to a tiny destination.

That and the one where you have to divebomb the switch in that alley are driving me nuts.

For the pressure plates on the towers: I used the grapnel boost upgrade to continuously get more air time and swing around the towers until I could run into the pressure plates.

For the divebomb switch in the nearby alley, I did it by flying off the previously mentioned towers and just timing the divebomb right. Took several tries.

Ok so I've gotten the first one but launching off the towers still leaves me two or three rungs short on the second.

Also with the blade dodge I have been holding back and holding counter, but also letting go of the hold very briefly in between the dude's slashes.

That's what it told you to do when they introduced them.

Just constantly holding both just makes you dodge.

the story is very much completely linear, with almost zelda dungeon aspects to it

but the city is open to glide around and do sidequests and beat up chumps and shit, yeah

There doesn't seem to be any difference between "Perfect" "Too early" "Too late", etc

as far as I can tell it is solely for that Riddler trophy.

watch her animations. you have to hit the jump as soon as she's primed herself to jump

I think she climbs slightly faster if you time the buttons properly

I kinda wanted the solution to the shark to have been Batman finding some exhibits of the marine animals on display and making some kind of pheromone to make a shark repellant spray.

It would have been cool if you had to fight the shark somehow. Although I guess it got a little pummeling at one point.

It's doesn't clash that badly, actually. They added some texture to the suit and all
