I'm pretty impressed by it, to say the least.

I'm still trying to get the hang of crouch canceling, which is hitting down before you get hit to reduce knockback time and angle.

Bets on how long until the C&D comes through? I know they aren't selling it but this looks like the kind of thing the lawyers clamp down on to set a point.

I dunno.. Nintendo seems to let fan projects go on once in a while, as long as there's no money changing hands.

What is this...how does it work? Also I agree with Jam, it is a matter of time before the C&D is clamped on. Reminds me vaguely of that Chrono Trigger remake those people were working on that looked so amazing until Square told them to stop. If square was smart they'd have hired the dudes and funded it.

It works exactly like any other Smash Bros game; one-button directional attacks, dynamic fighting arenas, and up-to-4-player madness

Also, key difference between this situation and that one is this is a finished and already-released game. So worst-case scenario for us is, there are no more updates.
