Jazz is something I have more respect for than actual interest in. Every once in a while I can really get into it, but it's not something I go to often.

I am interested! But I'm also sleepy and going to bed now. I'll listen to this when I wake up. If I hate it and it ruins my whole day I'm blaming you, mister.
Obligatory link to Pachelbel's Canon in D, followed by rage over the fact that it's technically from the Baroque period, and therefore technically not classical.
Also Facetious, I share your love of Vivaldi. There are countless works of classical music in the world but the one I constantly find myself coming back to is the Four Seasons.
True story: I have a deaf friend on the net and out of the blue she asked me one day what music was like. Classical music. I just linked her the video and she told me she cried that it was a "beautiful masterpiece."
Oh, and perfect for Halloween. Course, this fugue didn't have this evil connotation until the 20s (?) when it was used as the mantra of the Phantom of the Opera.
