Having problems accessing 4chan, any ideas?

So for the past few days, 4chan has been looking like this to me regardless of the board I'm on or the browser I use:

Now normally that background should be blue on this particular board, but no matter what Page Style I try to select, this is the only one I'm getting.

If that were the only problem, it'd be a mild annoyance and I wouldn't care but loading times are also ridiculously slow and I think the two issues are related. My connection seems fine as I don't have trouble accessing any other pages whatsoever, with maybe the exception of Sinfest.net for whatever reason.

And it's obvious I haven't been banned or blocked or I wouldn't be able to see anything, let alone post which I can still do just fine. In fact, opening and posting even large images is still fast but the actual loading of pages after the fact is what's slow as hell.

What could be causing this? It has to be on my end because no one else seems to be having the same problem.

Also, I've tried accessing the site from another computer in the house... same thing. Saving a thread also runs into some snags since apparently I'm having trouble detecting the Cascading Style Sheet (*.css) files.

Have you tried, I don't know, contact the mods of that board?

I mean...seriously? 4chan?

I don't want to sound elitist but I've never heard anybody on these forums speak positively about 4chan, or in the present tense about them, for that matter.

Tox's bias against the site aside, he's absolutely right that you should contact the people running it.

This is also a helpful page if you can't access that little slice of digital hell. Sometimes though, I get the same thing; worksafe boards the same background as the NSFWs, banners off center, with the long loads. Haven't really found a rhyme or reason to it though.

Thanks, guys. For now I've found a temporary fix by just disabling Javascript.

The page format problem is still there but at least the pages load at normal speed now.
