You owe it to yourself to check it out if you get the opportunity (pretty sure it can be found fairly cheaply on its own or as part of the RDR GOTY edition). Easily one of the best examples of DLC around.

"...only mights and maybes."
Not sure that's going to happen, @skab hasn't been online in a month, and hasn't even visited this thread this year.
Perhaps we are in need of a new thread?
Steam: Feriluce

It's not a download, it's an install. It installs from the disc.
Well that's a relief.
Edit: And PAX Payne?
I don't know anything about the crew system, so I ask: Is it better to have just one crew for every game, or better to have crews for individual games, so you know that people in the crew are interested specifically in any given game?
For instance, I bet the PAX Payne crew has a ton of inactive people. Will that matter? Is there a limit?
Specific
I think the Crew thing was instituted with Max Payne 3 and JohnnyChopsocky set that one up back in the day, this is the 2nd Rockstar game that's going to use the feature. So I guess to answer your question there's really no good reason other than PAX Payne is sort of a silly name for a GTA V crew.
And yes, join whether you're on PS3, 360, or PC. There's a toggle on the right side of the Crew page to see members of each. But we're all one big "Crew". So if you log on to your PS3 you'll see the PS3 members of the Crew playing, if you log on to your 360 you'll see the 360 members, and PC will be the same...eventually.
There's no limit but there are milestones to be set and all our stats across all platforms accrue (ha!) for our Crew. So breaking it up into PS3 Crew, 360 Crew, etc doesn't really do anything but separate our stats and the milestones we break. Shit like "Your Crew Has Won 100 Games Total" or "Crew Earns 10 Million Dollars Collectively" builds up over all our games no matter the platform.
wondering if anyone has a clue yet here
Hopefully the shipping from the Rockstar Warehouse will be expeditious!
I wasn't talking about breaking the crew up by platform, but by game. As in, there was a Max Payne crew, now there's a GTA V crew, and in the future there might be another crew for another game.
Seems best to cut that off right now if it's better (stats-wise) to have a coherent crew and make it something not game-specific.
I can't believe this is out next week. I'm going to spend so much time doing the most benign activities rather than all the explosive heists. Driving the speed limit! Buying hotdogs! Playing golf! And I'm going to enjoy it so much.
You join up and invite right through the Crew list from the games menu.
Chinatown Wangs could work well for pretty much any future game though.
Xbox 360. I have an old launch PS3 that doesn't have wi-fi and is probably close to dying. After about ten or fifteen minutes its fans sound like a jet engine. I don't want to tempt fate.
Edit: I just saw that if you pre-order it on the Microsoft Store, they'll give you 1600 ($20) Xbox Live points. I may have to switch my order to them.
Doesn't have the same punch like Grove Wangs.
