Annihilators Earthfall #2, it pretty much shows what would happen if Avengers fought the Annihilators, but a
lot of really good lines about how the Avengers always interfere in space stuff so this one time let space stuff interfere with Earth:
Wolverine and the X-Men #1 could have been better, but it has moments, like Kitty getting knocked down a peg and Toad being sympathetic:
And Astonishing X-Men #43 shows James Asmus is a good writer who really handles banter very well. Anytime you can fling pedantic when talking about Steve Rogers you get some points. Here Emma finds the real reason Beast left the team and shows that Secret Avengers aren't so secret:

he looks super goofy as a gangly ginger with a fro
Now he looks like a Toad
Neither of them compares to JIM by any stretch. Hell, Ms. Marvel coming onto Volstagg isn't even in the top five of awesome things about this issue, and you can imagine my reaction to reading THAT.
Oh my stars and garters!
So, yes, that amused me. And, going back to the whole theme of this arc it's like the line from The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance: When the legend becomes fact, print the legend. I wouldn't hesitate to say that his self-assured belief in the underlying truths of his stories is pretty much what gives him his considerable strength. Say what you will about his penchant for braggadocio, but when Asgardian-modified Doombots attacked Broxton he wrecked their shit, and has earned the right long before Thor was a man to indulge in exaggeration. Especially when the matter is a tale of noble strength and sacrifice rather than admit that all of the gods of Asgard failed, and Volstagg himself had to engage in subterfuge and deception to do what he knew was right when none of the others would.
Also Annhilators and FF were both fantastic.
How to weaponize household products with Professor Remy Lebeau
Diction and Linguistics with Professor Rogue ( I laughed out loud at this one)
Know your alien races, and how to kill them, with Professor Lockheed.
But ya, that was a great opener, just the whole Faulty Towers feel to it.
and c'mon Logan
First off Spider-Island, chose this giant splash page as it shows off beautiful ramos art / some good banter as well. I love Venom on the side of the helicopter!
Nice action sequence showing off the current members of the Ultimates, Hawkeye proves again that he is awesome. Best book on the stands even if it is 20 pages for 3.99.
And Flash, is just so beautiful , Flash-Fu
there is never enough dazzler
okay I'm gonna need the trade
you sold me with this description
also Toad reminds me of Flycatcher from Fables
why is it even a thing? SELL MORE
They do so because previous issues didn't sell through enough to warrant having wasted money on the shelf. You can't blame the retailers when they do that.
I thought it meant when the distributors don't send all the copies the store ordered
nvm
For instance, when Great Ten was being published, my LCS quit ordering the book because it wasn't selling, and the only ordered three copies for people with pull lists. And I've noticed recently a lot of indie books and smaller publishers are only getting their first issues ordered decently at the shop, and the LCS is basically telling people if you want the book put it on your pull list because they just don't want to take the risk anymore.
We get to find out was piloting the destroyer. Meet Volstagg's very large wife and family for storytime about the origins of the serpent (with Volstagg as the hero). Borpigeam! Children yelling "Death to nazis". Ms. marvel likes a man with a little girth. The breaker of fasts. Serpent dung.
And to top it all off, some tender moments from Volstagg as a parent trying to protect his kids innocence.
I think this might be the best comic I've read in my life.
