Hey PA! I've come here for advice numerous times looking for gaming advice, and with great success! Introduced me to a lot of games I never would have tried.
Now I come to you looking for a clicky dungeon crawler similar to diablo but WITH COOP. I know torchlight 2 will have coop, but amidst the hype of Diablo 3 I just want something NOW!!!
currently trying darkspore, and its leaving me feeling sort of empty cuz.... loot is sparse...
I've heard lots about titans quest, but I just never got around to it. Thanks for the recommendations.
I heard dungeon seige was good?

The first two Dungeon Sieges are pretty good. They're much more linear, as in you're almost killing mans in a curvy hallway linear. They haven't aged well with time, I've found after going back and playing them again.
I played all the way through Dungeon Siege 1, and LRH has it right on the money for the first game. The entire thing felt like I was travelling in a corridor 50 feet wide and 100 miles long. Aside from one giant swamp section, I don't recall a single moment of indecision as to where I was supposed to go.
It also has some very wonky game mechanics. You can pick up a weapon in the last third or so of the game that can make ANY character a top rate archer along with the best you've got in, like, 20 minutes.
The gear system left me muling dozens of items on my character with a constant shuffle around every time someone levelled up.
Now, I'm not saying it's bad, just that the first one didn't blow my mind or inspire a thousand hours of replay like Diablo/Diablo 2/Lord of Destruction did.
Torchlight is probably closer, though I had it pretty much played out after essentially two runthroughs.
I'd be more likely to recommend TL than DS1. I will admit I've been kind of curious about DS3, but not for the prices still being asked for it (nor enough to go hunting on ebay or other sites for discount keys).
First they came for the Muslims, and we said NOT TODAY, MOTHERFUCKER!
The reason the Titan Quest expansion is particularly recommended for your case is that it adds a skill tree that is specifically aimed at the co-op experience.

It also adds the caravan, which is the vital reason to get it.
I think respeccing was in the base game, but if it wasn't, it added that, too. The expansion to that game is civilization, and turns it from a decent Diablo clone into an amazing one.

I'll - what are we up to - eighth? the sentiments about Titan's Quest and its expansion. You literally just missed a sick sale on it on Steam. I actually paid the 5 bucks for the pair, even though I have both sitting, feet away in the closet. I had been jonesing for a pre-Diablo 3 click-kill-loot fix, but just didn't feel liek getting up, installing and patching.
Yay, Steam!
Torchlight is also awesome, but yeah, the skill system in TQ is just pure sexy.
Now I'm off to my wolf-packin' Ranger, shootin' some Yeti...
so after playing titans quest: immortal throne for several hours yesterday, steam says 4 hours... its a bland game. Bland animations, enemies, weapons... just generic. I'm sad
Seconding Dungeon Siege and Sacred. Not quite as deep and engaging as Diablo, but close enough. Never played Arcanum in multiplayer but single player was great!
My favorite Diablo clone off all time is Spellforce 1&2. It's more of a Diablo/Warcraft 3 combo game and the first one surpasses them both in my opinion. Second one is not quite as good but still very fun. Again I have not played them in multiplayer, so can't make any promises on how that aspect of the game is

Sounds like someone who tried one build and never got out of Greece. Greece is a bit long and takes a while to plow through, and the literal mazes in Greece make it a bear to play through on repeats. However, I wouldn't call the animations bland (they employ typical video-game physics, so you can literally knock enemies off of cliffs with a powerful enough blast). The sheer variety of builds that you can make (and every combination is completely viable, at least for the first difficulty level) and the excellent length of the game (way longer than Diablo II) merit a longer playthrough, especially for co-op. It's also similar to Diablo 2 with respect the the difficulty levels... the game doesn't really "start" to ramp up until you've made it past Normal difficulty, and then things get interesting, mechanics-wise.
While the sentiment that Titan Quest is boring compared to Diablo is held by a few other forumers, by and large most forumers consider Titan Quest to be a worthy successor to Diablo 2 (even superior, for some folks). If the game seems overly generic, and you are tired of playing Diablo 2 (even with mods like Median and Eastern Sun), maybe you are getting bored with the genre as a whole, and no amount of polish or flash can fix that.
On consoles, you can try Dungeon Hunter: Alliance, which is as close to a Diablo ripoff as you can get. Not sure if it's out for PC, but it does have Co-op. Sacred is like Diablo 1 except in an open world similar to Oblivion. Sacred 2 is like Diablo 2 or Titan Quest in an open world similar to Oblivion. Dungeon Siege 2 is closer to the Diablo 2 experience than Dungeon Siege 1, by far, but both are unique and interesting games.

Make sure you get the expansion.
It has by far the best class/ability system of any Diablo clone I've ever played. If it had a dog, it would be perfect.
