I was wondering where I can find information about the people who produce the show Extra Credits.
Or information about who the people behind Penny Arcade in general are.
I couldn't find an Team, About or Imprint section on the website. Couldn't find anything here on the forums either.
It's really annoying for me that this site doesn't have any of those sections. For me they are one of the most basic things a website should have.

Gabe and Tycho have email links on the front page on the header of their posts. They also have other contact methods like twitter. If you'd like to learn more about the going-ons of Penny Arcade you could watch their online TV series. There are two seasons and its a good watch.
I looked up their twitter accounts hoping for a bit information like "I'm X Y and working at Z as this and that. Go on my webpage to find out more about me". But they only link back to Penny Arcade.
Also I think emailing them for such information isn't really a good idea. If everyone would do that they would spend hours only with repetitive replys.
I second the recommendation re:watching the series. If you go to the main page and click "PATV" it links to all the shows they have on the site, and the PATV ones give a lot of great background.
Alternatively, you can start on Wikipedia. Yeah I know, but it's often a good jumping off point for more in-depth looking at stuff.

There are tons of interviews around the net with them, to be had with some rudimentary googling. Try this AVClub article, for instance.
