Name that Freeware Game!

OK guys, this should be easy. I'm looking for a freeware game I once played wherein you control this demon that was once defeated by a hero, and now he's getting all his powers back so he can fuck shit up. It's semi-nonlinear, very cute, and a lot like Cave Story (not as awesome, obviously). I remember it being pretty good, and it had an English translation available (I think it was a Japanese game, also like Cave Story).

    Yeah, that's it. Thanks. It's actually a lot more mediocre than I remember it being. The jumping is so still. Hell, all the movement reminds me of those old-school JRPGs where the movement was tile based, such as the original Dragon Quest. It is fun though.
