Free, realistic handwritten fonts?

I'm turning in a short story to creative writing Thursday and my story will include entries from one of my character's journal. For these sections, I wanted to have a realistic handwritten font (it seems all the ones within Word are shit).
What would be AWESOME, though, is a handwritten font with a second version of it that I could download that is slightly more sloppy (there is a part in the story where she is scratching stuff down very quickly).
Anyone have an idea if that exists?
Either way, fonts that look realistic but are still legible would be great. Please suggest away.
