Yeah, I know everyone loves the Muppets and apparently Arthur Christmas is better than most people expected
And yes In a few weeks Tin Tin is coming out that of course that will be incredible
But in the shuffle of all these family films don't forget about
It is directed by Martin Scorsese and trust me he directs the shit out of it
There's been almost no advertising for this and I wanted to give everyone a heads up about how good it is
This boy
Lives in a Paris train station in 1930. He fixes the clocks in place of his uncle who took him in when his father died. I don't want to say too much about the plot since most of the joy is watching it unfold and finding out who everybody is.
Long story short, Hugo is trying to achieve closure with his father's death and in the process falls in love with Hit Girl
and slowly grows attached to her guardian, Ben Kingsley
while being chased around by Sasha Baron Cohen as the train inspector and in the end we get to see
Le Voyage Dans La Lune in 3D and that was incredibly cool.

But Emily Mortimer is also in it and she's a much more appropriate object of desire
She plays a flower girl @liiya being romanced by Sasha Baron Cohen

Now if someone like scorsese is singing the praises of 3D, I at least want to see what is up.
i will enjoy this too
"Sandra has a good solid anti-murderer vibe. My skin felt very secure and sufficiently attached to my body when I met her. Also my organs." HAIL SATAN
I like her hat!
But on the other hand, it seems to be garnering a lot of acclaim, so maybe the trailer is just a poor representation of the film? It wouldn't be the first film this year to be mis-represented by its trailer.

Hopefully the 3D doesn't suck

Or because his grandchildren used reverse psychology on him and manipulated him into making a kid's flick
I was trying to figure out where I knew her from and then realized she was Pheobe, the woman with "avian bone syndrome" from 30 rock.
This looks very cool.
As far as the 3d "dilemma", I have a simple solution. I'll just see it in standard format.
And I'm like ok what is it about?
"Whatever here is a train! Snow! Martin Scorsese!"
Well that's good enough for me.
Good enough for me.
Me too.
This looks good, but my eyes cannot handle 3d. It sucks, but what can you do?
Mark Millar thinks you're a loser.
it was quite good, though a bit mushy in a few parts
if you're a movie buff you'll especially like it, i think
One other thing. This movie is slowly paced and requires a lot of your attention. To me though, it was very much worth it and rewarded your patience immensely by the end.

was dial M for Murder originally in 3D? That's pretty cool.
It doesn't even hint at the larger mystery that the movie is about

Scorsese did an interview on The Daily Show about the movie and he said his wife or someone told him he should finally make a movie that his children can actually go and see. So he did.
And him and John Stewart talk a lot about how the movie is very much a love story to cinema and its history. Ben Kingsley plays
(Even if I decide on 2D, I'll probably do this same thing when The Hobbit comes out)
also, from what FAQ has said, I really wish that I didn't miss the opportunity to see Cave of Forgotten Dreams in 3D
Yeah, he's associated with violent crime movies but he also directed Alice Doesn't Live Here Anymore, KunDun, and The Last Temptation of Christ
You compare what he's doing with Clint Eastwood who recently directed what amounts to a one man play about J. Edgar Hoover and the difference is just stark in how much they are willing to step outside their comfort zones and explore new territory
