Music to perk me up

Anarchy Rules!

So, winter's rolling in and at the moment all the music in my collection seems to be in the Radiohead school of 'good, but not really very cheerful'.

I'd quite like some ideas for bands, albums, songs etc that are good at perking you up, making you more cheerful and so forth.

Ray LaMontagne and The Pariah Dogs (more mellow than overly happy, but really good)
Also you should check out The National - again more mellow than happy but gosh am I ever in love with them right now
