Wiimote on your PC help.

Hiya,

I'm trying to understand how to get the wiimote working on a PC. I've got step by step instructions with the bluetooth adaptor, so i think i can handle that part, what im confused about is how to physically connect the sensor bar to the PC. Do i need a third party version such as the wireless nyko or can i use the one that came with the wii using an adaptor (what kind of adaptor?).

The sensor bar has no sensors at all, just 6 IR leds that the wiimote uses to track position.
You can probably use any number of home-made or third party solutions.

im sure i could, i just wanted to see if i could use the one i have already.

You could always plug it into your Wii and turn your Wii on. Though I don't know if that will mess with your wiimotes connection to your PC.
