Best part is that Brown's "gentleman's agreement" will wind up as an albatross around his neck.

You speak ill of presdient snowe
One look at a map of Cantor's district should free you of that optimism!
True, but Warren is closing the funding gap and levelling the playing field, which puts Brown in a very bad spot.
Cantor won't be removed. He will be window seated, though.
Charles Pierce wrote a thing about how she's not being particularly visible on a local level and Brown has been. Which is not great.
Brown hasn't been either. Its still 7 months out and its a Senate race, not the Presidential.

One, it doesn't matter, what is this, McCarthy reborn? Two, regardless if you have "heard" names fucking name them you spineless goose so they can call you out on your shit. (Can you imagine the shitstorm the press would have if a Democrat said he had "heard" that Republican congressman belonged to the KKK or Fascist parties?) Three, Obama doesn't want to debate you because he's the fucking President of the United States and doesn't have the time to coddle your dumb ass.

I think I have an idea of how West has gotten so far in the GOP.
I've heard him floated as a VP nominee. Nothing would make me happier than to see this loon tank Romney even more than he's already done, but sadly I think they'll vet whoever they choose a little better than Palin this go around.
Also, on a slightly different (but still related to this thread) topic: I wish so badly I could vote for Elizabeth Warren, but I don't live in Massachusetts. You'd better make sure she beats Scott Brown guys.
For the boomers, the Cold War will never be over.
Americans (mostly the old ones) are still afraid of commies and socialism.
These 2 facts intersect to make America what it is today.
Turns out he is in way over his head and has no idea how the fuck this 'Congress' thing works, to the point where speculation is that he may be already permanently damaging any chance at a serious Senate career no matter how many times he may get re-elected. He's not talking to anyone- well, scratch that, he's talking people's ears off but seems uninterested in responses- he hasn't really made friends with anyone, and he's gearing up to fire his entire staff... which is actually the second time already he will have done so, as he barely brought over anyone from his campaign. And the people that are going to be leaving are going to be carrying horror stories with them all over the Beltway.
Basically, Ron Johnson is not fit to get Russ Feingold coffee. Which we already knew, but now it's increasingly common knowledge in Washington too.
(BONUS: The article closes with Foster Friss telling Fox News that Johnson ought to be considered for Romney's running mate, which hahahahahahaha.)
Plus DKos has a cheat sheet here.
Nothing too dramatic changing, it looks like, though the 27th might flip from D to R. But that was a possibility even before redistricting.
My hope of Peter King's possible ouster has been quashed, though. He was redistricted away from constituencies that might threaten him.

No, the people who hate obama all voted in 2010, while democrats stayed home
Then you had a sub-section that didn't necessarily hate Obama, or at least not to the point where they would never vote for him, who bought the tea party's lie of "we'll fix things."
Now that they have proven that they couldn't fix things; hopefully, making it clear that they'll fuck things up worse, they'll have an even harder time winning this time around. Sadly, I think we have to wait another 4-8 years before mortality starts thinning the ranks of the dumbasses that make up the tea party. Getting the ranks of younger progressives to vote more frequently is another issue as well, I think it will sort itself out to a degree, but I wouldn't mind seeing efforts to get the morons there to understand that voting in primaries and actual elections are how they can best influence policy (seriously, fuck OWS unwillingness to engage in elected politics - newflash, we can all bitch, so we all have ways to ignore said bitching).
"I am LorcTheOrc, something something papists."
Good times.
"Excuse me, good sir, what time is it?"
"DIE YOU CATHOLIC DEVIL DIEEEEEEEEEEEEE"
Someone in the [chat] thread got a pm from him wherin he admitted to just be trolling.
I don't know how much longer till the perma ban comes out.
Orly taitz is running for senate. I needed a good laugh this morning. Thanks California!
I think you need to vote for her. Share the laughter with the nation!
Where she has no chance whatsoever. (The GOP's actual preferred candidate has only 2% support.)
I think she's Russian originally.
If you're making a meme reference, well then hee-hee.
Holy shit, I want her to win the primary so bad.
And lots of fresh new young voters have this simply ridiculous notion is that America only has an election every four years.
That's not entirely fair, one force behind the teabaggers' successes was their, "rugged individual" narrative. They claimed to be rugged individuals who held allegiance to no party and just HAPPENED to all vote Republican and only attack the "democrat party."
That's because only the democrats were inflating the deficit.
No seriously, stop trying to think to a time before 2009. Nothing important happened then. Trust me.
The point is, bootstrappiness sells. OWS can garner more support and exert more influence by pretending to be an unimpeachable third party than by admitting they're mostly democrats and that more democrats in office and more liberal democrats guiding policy is their goal. Truth is good, I like truth, but truth doesn't sell as good as truthiness and when you're trying to win against the owners of this country you need something that really sells.
And on that topic, I ran across this recently: More than 2,700 companies collect your state income tax, and then keep it for themselves.
Battlenet ID: MildC#11186 - If I'm in the game, send me an invite at anytime and I'll play.
Then I remembered I live in a state with no income tax.

No they can't. That's why they haven't done much so far beyond their initial success of bringing income inequality into the limelight.

At least this means she'll get good coverage in the WaPo.
