Super MNC: Okay TDOT, something actually happened.
Posts
and it is not an easy game to understand right away
I've been playing a bunch of Wascot today, I really disliked him when I first tried him in one of the previous pro rotations. After playing today, he's great. All zipping about and whacking people in the head with paddle, the lifesteal thing makes him pretty hard to kill, especially for ranged characters who aren't going to be great at melee range anyways.
Just played with a Cheston who was at about 30 0 30, from what I could see he was just grappling people.
carry on
Also, I thought the game was gonna be like LoL and have the menu thing be a launcher deal that goes into full resolution when the game starts. So my first game was in a tiny window that was not-so-good for playing.
Support was still fun, though it seems hard to know when to kill and when to hang back and heal dudes.
gunslinger?
is a terrible class
Lots of slowing them down and using the rapid fire to wear them down.
Headshots do a lot of damage and you can rapid fire.
I have 4500 MNC bux, should I buy someone? I'm not sure any of them really tickle my fancy at that cost.
I want Wascot (maybe Spark, haven't played him yet). Considering Tank/Veteran because Veteran is fun with the Ka-Claw.
I just played against someone that looked like the gunslinger but had these weird little sentries of which she could have several at a time, an SMG type thing, and some other stuff I didn't recognize
she racked up 17 kills and 4 deaths in one game (I killed her two of those times as a Support, I felt pretty special) but I never saw her use the pistol or the rifle once in the entire match
a whole different class
she's actually a variation on the support
I also still can't figure out how to pick endorsements or if they cost funbux or whatever.
you arrange them in slots, and most have a bonus and a drawback
the more you level, the more slots become avaible to you
and you can make multiple custom sets of them so you can use a different one for a given match depending on your class or the map or whatever
oddly enough you can only buy them with earned in-game currency, no funbucks allowed
if you don't set up or use a custom endorsement set at all, the game just gives you a big speed bonus instead
funny, I could have sworn I have you on my steam list. apparently not.
I have one left, friend me.
New Free Pro Rotation: Sniper, Captain Spark, Karl, Combat Girl, Cheston
Greatly changed the calculation to determine if you earn a 'leave' in a game. Should happen less often.
New message HUD UI. Now shows an icon along with descriptive text.
Improved in-game VOIP chat.
Added new audio to the end game scoreboard.
New position icons for Strikers, Commandos, Enforcers, Sharpshooters, and Defenders
Products
Added full Products system
Products add new game play, as opposed to Endorsments that just alter statistics.
Products are used when an in-game event occurs. There are products that use when you juice, die, respawn, make a kill, and more.
Products have an in-game Pro Level requirement. This means you have to get enough XP, in game, to attain the level that turns that product on. Once you reach that level it will start working. Products that don't list it's Pro Level requirement are unlocked all the time and will work immediately at the start of the game.
Products can be unlocked for you, the Agent, via combat credits.
Bullet Gorge Arena

Downtown Spunky Arena

I was just starting to have fun with rampage!
my favorite thing is to put juniors all around the annihilator on loco moco
the first person who jumps up dies instantly
Not sure how things turned on us there, but I did okay as the CG for the first time, I think.
I'm happy there is a new map but only because I might not have to play on Loco Moco as much. I hate that map
So many Kills & Assists.
I'm sure Wascot, Assassin and Spark would also benefit from it.
Pretty much EVERY class benefits from it, because grapples are always useful.
I'm afraid I've done something stupid though
I used my initial 600 point things to unlock the Rockateer guy
turns out he can be used anyway
and now I really want to unlock the sheriff girl but it's like 9000 coins
so what does unlocking the initial characters even give you?
which characters are available for free rotates once a week, on thursdays
buying the character means you can continue to use them regardless of whether or not they are currently free
I hope the sheriff girl plays like him
Does it just kamikaze into the first enemy to enter the radius?
