Really? There's no other firearm you ever want to fire? You are aware of the Mark 19, right?

Do you remember the grenade launcher Arnie used in T2?

They make an automatic version of it...

Man, that must be expensive as hell to fire.

How much does each grenade cost?

At least it probably isn't as expensive as firing one of those javelin missiles.

    Join the army son

They will pay you to fire it

And as everyone knows, government money isn't real

I'm a little skeptical of them but anecdotal evidence from friends and family suggests to me that they are real

    we use buck and slugs

on the range we end up firing a ton of them since usually have a bunch

edit now i cant remember the pellet count for the buck

    Standard 2 3/4" shells in 00 buck have 9, if I'm not mistaken 3" have 15

And if you're looking to reduce recoil I recommend a knoxx specops stock. I have it on my moss 500.

As an aside I have my home defense gun loaded with Winchester PDX1 slugs, but only because my house is made from concrete blocks and they won't penetrate through should the need arise. Your loads should vary based on your location and building material.

Every time I see this thread I think it's about Rammstein

and I'm always a tiny bit disappointed when I remember that it isn't.

bought my Sig 2022 .40 back in...September? October? shortly after my birthday

for my first pistol, it is a fine weapon. i need more range time with it, but i'm pretty damn efficient on it.

i also bagged a spike last friday with my jc higgins model 51 .30-06. other guns i own - weatherby orion 12 gauge O/U and a ruger 10/22 with a bull barrel on it. shoots like a dream.

i was hoping i'd win enough money in new orleans to pay for an ar-15, but all i could do was break even

I'm thinking of getting an ar-15 when i get my glock just cause im already familiar with the ar-15 and it would be a nice range weapon and I could teach the lady on that and the glock.

the ar is a wonderful platform

i just don't have the money for one. i'd love to put one together myself, as it's cheaper than purchasing an already made rifle from a company, plus you get to pick which parts from who you want in it, but i'm broke AND lazy as shit

My dad just bought a handgun in the past sixth months. I really really want to shoot it at something.

Pretty damned good. I'd say i change them maybe once a month, and I always have two spare batts in the riser for the buttstock.

One can be had for as low as $600 if you know where to look, obviously it won't be top of the line but a starting point is as good as any.

I built my own AR15 because I wanted practice and I thought it'd be an interesting experience putting it together, which it was, but I fucked up somewhere and it sometimes shoots twice for one pull of the trigger. Not going to shoot it again until I fix it, which may be never because I'm lazy as shit. I also bought a Glock 17 for practicing with as I carry one at work and I used to suck something awful with it. It's perfect and I really should go to the local range more often.

I plan on buying at some vague point in the future a concealable revolver, probably a .38 of some sort but I can't really justify the cost at the moment.

Oh, and my wife wants one of these:

Went to a gun show last weekend and laid eyes on an RPD. Sort of want. Really though I'm in the market for an SKS in the right price range. Some loud asshole was trying to push a Russian one for $800 while the guy across from him was selling Yugos for $350 a pop, which was not terrible except that the stocks were in dreadful condition, and for $350 they weren't even cleaned of cosmoline or checked by a gunsmith. Fuck that.

I did walk away with a lot of good quality surplus 7.62x54R, 880 rounds for 150 bucks.
