Hello I am back from my ban.
This game was met with mixed reviews and a certain level of criticism. However the response was mostly positive and that is why I think we should try again.
You will take on the role of the high councel/ruling class and vote with or against eachother on the best course of action. Your ideas will also be incorporated into the storyline whenever possible. It is up to you to look at the Chance of success of any path you choose and weigh your options. This is a group game, the first 3 of the same votes decide the choice we make.
First, choose your civilization by agreeing on one of the races and their affinity below. An example would be A1-The Human Science civilization.
Civilization (special can only be used 1 time)
A) Human (special: expand once in all directions)
Dwarf (special: expand to one spot anywhere on the map)
C) Elf (special: gain two levels in Magic or Weaponry)
D) Undead (special: raise the dead to double population)
E) Orc (special: chosen battle is a guaranteed victory)
F) Giant (special: gain two levels in Weaponry or Defense)
G) Fishpeople (special: expand four times in one direction)
H) Gnome (special: gain two levels in Defense or Science)
Civilization affinity
1) Science (helps with weaponry, magic and defense but mainly strengthens economic advancement)
2) Weaponry (create/upgrade all forms of weapons based on resources available)
3) Magic (war magic and spells that might possibly bend the laws of physics)
4) Defense (builds fortifications, raises individual health, and heightens border security)

You are the Fishpeople, a good-natured race of amphibians who breed quite quickly compared to other races. Unlike your water-dwelling ancestors, you have decided to make the land your home. After generation of evolution you have become fully adapted to living on the surface. However you are still naturally strong swimmers and divers. As the only water-adapted race, you will have a truly unique technology path.
Right now your home village in the shallows is in poor condition. A few tents and camouflaged watchtowers are all that mark your Capitol. Your tribe is malnourished and scavenging for insects along the stagnant pools of water.
Your science research is complete. You now have tools. Tools are commonly the first invention of primitive races. But having these tools will allow you to expand your horizons and construct things on a much larger scale.
A few laborers get to work around the Capitol campsite, cleaning up the wreckage of old flooded buildings. Even though your population is low, the morale of the Fishpeople is high. The villagers have confidence in their leaders, the Fish Elders.

The Fish Elders decide that breeding should come first in the new society. A customary humping takes place and more Fishpeople are spawned. Fishpeople reproduction involves groupsex and eggs.
A census is taken and now your population will be recorded for you. More small creatures are captured and eaten, but there is no stockpile of food. Advisors caution that you should find a source of food before rampant breeding takes place. The followers will become grumpy if rations spread too thin.
A stockpile of any/all resources would benefit your greatly. Science could yield economy-boosting technology or you could try to expand towards capturing a resource node.
The townspeople are being trained and educated. A group of scouts can see a shanty town with unknown villagers to the south. Also a dense forest is sighted in the south.

There is some disagreement among the high council. It is decided that the tribe must continue breeding, regardless of the advisors' warnings of a possible food shortage. Your followers are commanded to flop on eachothers genitals until babies are made.
A dozen seafaring Fishpeople chose to abandon the watery domain and join you on land. Your tribe grows in number once again.
Your home village has been cleared of debris and nothing of value was discovered. Fishsoldiers and builders roam around the confines of the Capitol territory, doing what little construction they can. Morale is still high because of the pleasurable sex festivities, but food is becoming scarce and cannibalism or revolt will surely begin if your people are not satisfied.
