My parents wish to buy a new television, as their old crt is beginning to show its age - and they want a television with both DVR but also the ability to watch BBC Iplayer and internet sources without hitching up the computer necessarily.
What would be the easiest way of achieving this end? In fact, what is the standard modern setup for a television? I have not watched or interacted with at television for several years except fixing theirs so I am not entirely informed atm.
