Windows Phone 7?

I'm probably going to get a smartphone in January and right now I'm wavering between an iPhone and a Windows Phone 7 phone. I know the pros and cons of iOS and I was thinking I'd go that way but then I got my hands on a Windows Phone 7 phone and hot damn, it's pretty. It clearly makes a great "first 2 minutes" impression but does anybody in here have one that could shed light on any long-term issues?

I've had a windows 7 phone since launch... first I had the HTC HD7 and now I have the HTC Radar (I got both for free through my job). I really like the phones themselves and the OS has only gotten better since the Mango update a few months ago. Every OS is going to have little niggles that stick out to you after you use them for awhile, my biggest problems with windows phone 7 is the lack of flash support and that I can't copy and paste from an email... oh and no expandable memory but you'd face that problem with an iPhone as well. Another thing to be aware of is that the market isn't as large as on the iPhone, honestly it probably won't ever be that large. Overall the OS is very smooth and stable but the multitasking is kinda kinda crappy right now but I'm sure that'll pick up.

I'm not going to say that Windows 7 is better then IOS, but for me it works a little better and I like the flexibility to have different models with different screen sizes, cameras, kickstands and such.

I love my HTC HD7. Most of the problems I had with mine (connecting to WIFI without a broadcast SSIS, copy/paste, application switching, msn/facebook chat support) were fixed in the Mango update.

It doesn't have nearly as many apps as android or iOS, but I've never been an app whore anyway. I have the basics that I'll need.

I have a Samsung Focus. It's a great phone and the last update cycle was a breeze compared to the first.

The iPhone has it beat in ubiquity, but if you don't mind missing access to some apps or certain versions of apps its a solid platform. The Xbox Live features are what really sold me on it in the end, but Metro is awesome, Zune Pass is a pretty solid service, and the phones are pretty decent but not cutting edge.
