Removing sites without due process, this is just like the SHRA!
It's a dumb move that will hamper Marvel and DC, and no matter how much reassuring the EiCs/editors or creators might act about it in relation to comics, it probably won't be up to them when it comes to enforcing it and searching the internet for sites that they deem infringing on their copyright. It'll be like what Prince does on youtube, hiring someone to look just for Prince music and then get it removed.
According to CBR someone tried to make a topic about SOPA at Marvel's official forums and it got deleted, way to build confidence team.
It's funny because a lot of those companies' (Disney included) subsidiaries actually promoted file sharing and whatnot. This may have been posted in the thread on D&D, but here it is again for the GV crowd.

What the fuck do L'Oreal care?

I wonder, if Disney, CBS, other companies do this and SOPA passes, would they be obligated to sue themselves?
I've gotten a couple pro-SOPA spam e-mails, which is just so appropriate.
