I'm worried my patron music stretches some definitions a bit. It's not really rock and my "band" is just a singer/songwriter, but fuck it, I love the music and I think it fits well in a musical/operatic context.

My musical tastes aren't very diverse, when it comes to band options.

I listen to like, mashcore, which I will not intentionally inflict on anyone else, chiptunes which is not very good for lyrics, and no one will ever know what I listened to as a teenager, ever.

There's classic stuff that everyone recognizes, yeah, but I don't really listen to that often at all so I would probably fuck it up.

even though it's a "rock opera" it doesn't have to be rock

and just being a singer/songwriter is fine too, there's just not a good word that encompasses both groups and single artists
