Troubles with iTunes

Been having a few issues with iTunes lately. When ever it tries to open a web page it seems to load the page into Word rather than open IE or Opera. This is especially prevelant when clicking links to update iTunes or as recently where it says I got to recover my password first before going further and it opens the forgot password page in word stopping me cold. Anyone come across this before and can help me point itunes back to a browser rather than my word processor?

It's probably because you have Word as your default HTML editor. I don't know how to change it in Win 7, but in XP, you could go to Tools > Folder Options, then view the File Types tab. Scroll down to the Extensions for HTM or HTML and change it to point to a browser instead of Word. Or find the entries for Word on the list (in case the links aren't HTM or HTML extensions) and delete the ones that aren't obviously Word documents (generally, the only two you want are .DOC and .RTF to be opened in word. Some folks open .TXT files in Word, I guess.).
