Recently I've had some problems with Firefox that I've never had before. I'm an avid LP reader and a lot of these are video LP's which is where the problem appears. Any time that I try to run a Youtube link (or an embedded video link on these forums) Firefox locks up completly and I have to kill the Firefox process in the Task Manager. Has anyone else run into this problem? I've had a look at the Firefox forums but they've been less than helpful.
I have this problem on 3 seperate computers all not even using plugins other than basic flash ones and such. I ended up surmising that its an issue with the flash plugin in general with the most recent firefox. I uninstalled and switched over to Google Chrome and haven't had any issues since.
What versions of Firefox and Flash plugin are you using? Have you tried killing plugin-container.exe instead of Firefox?
I've tried to kill the plugin-container.exe but that didn't work, unfortunatly.I'm currently using Firefox 9.0.1and my current flash plugin seems to be Shockwave Flash 11.1 r102.

Try reinstalling the Flash plugin. If that doesn't help, you'll probably need to either switch to another browser (or try the Firefox 10 Beta), or disable Flash and enable the YouTube HTML5 player instead.

Alternatively disable all your plugins and see if it keeps happening.
