    You know what Iowa's accent is called?

    "General American"

    Buttfuck Iowa's english is considered the standard that non-speakers are taught. It's kind of hilarious.

    You know whenever we have these arguments nobody bothers to look up the IPA so they can actually explain what they mean and none of you fuckers ever just records yourself saying stuff.

    It's ridiculous.

    Edit: why does my phone autocorrect so to do???

    Depends on how you use it.

    Advice = Noun

    Advise = Verb

    Like Effect vs Affect, except the two variations actually sound different with the former example, so it's not completely dumb.

    I dunno, it just seems pretty silly when people type 'marr-y!' 'mahry!' ' that's what I said' at each other for ages.

    Just record it and then you can make fun of each other with far more precision.

    People say y'all more places than the south now. When I was in New York lots of people said y'all instead of "you all" or, what I was hoping for, "yous guys."
