I love Tim Schafer. I grew up on his and Ron Gilbert's point-and-click adventure games, and I bitterly lament that these great games from a decade or two ago have so few inheritors today.

This is impossibly amazing news. Even the Kickstarter guys themselves were flipping out!

They got over a million dollars! IN 24 HOURS! For a $400 k game!

I'm just ridiculously excited! Anyone who wants to revel in this glorious second coming, come forward! Or, you know, if you just want to reminisce about how awesome Full Throttle was. That is acceptable as well. Or just give them money! Heck, when the bandwagon is this big, it's clearly time to jump on.

    Tomorrow Double Fine announces they said fuck it, and are also making Psychonauts 2 with the kickstarter funds.

    awesome, we new have three threads actively talking about this.

    Glad they're doing so well though.

    Was never big into adventure games but goes back to the old days of weird ass video games interests me.

    Notch would only be publishing Psychonauts 2, it'd be Double Fine developing it.

    Anyway I'm super excited about this, Ron Gilbert and Tim Schafer's point and click adventure games were a big part of my childhood.

    As it turns out, not everyone in a company needs to work on the same game for it to be produced.

    In fact many places can work on two things at the same time. You know. Since they have more than 3 people...
