The Guiding Principles and New Rules document is now in effect.
Also, the game is played with the DS tilted to one side, making the playfield taller than it is wide. And you can slide blocks once they've landed, making it "easier," but the goals the game gives you are set with this in mind, so it's actually harder.
I don't like the fact that you can more pieces horizontally as well, it sounds like it'd be too easy. I feel like if I ever need a Meteos fix I can just pop in the first one.

You're not listening. The game is recalibrated to take advantage of this fact. In the IGN review, they said they've played for eight hours and STILL can't get good enough to unlock the final difficulty.
I loved KH2....No "real" gamer had to do his damned Journal...you just had to be "Proud"
Oh and No WiFI means No Buy. Damned internets and their damned rumors getting my hopes up.
It's funny because, AFAIK, there was never any official or remotely ambiguous reports that there was going to be online play in this version of the game. It was just a fervent wish made so earnestly by so many people that it just willed itself into being, and then when it wasn't in the final product everyone is disappointed.
Although if anything, news sources and game publishers/developers really need to clarify the distinction between wi-fi play (local) and Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection play (online). :x
Well after 3 1/2 hours of playing, I FINALLY beat hard mode. And my reward. NOTHING. No expert mode, no nude pics of Jiminy and Tinkerbell 69ing, no saying "Hey, you know what, thanks, we really appreciate you buying our game. You're a good guy." That's almost more frustrating than the final level (which literally dumps and entire screen of blocks on you at once and gives you about 3 seconds to clear it.) I haven't smoked in several months, but I'm going out to buy a cig.

Meaty O's?
Also, apparently it still doesn't have the one thing the original Meteos lacked: WiFi. Double-u Tee Eff, mate.

It's Disney.

Besides, aren't there a whole 42 people using DS Wifi these days?
In any case, I have no interest in this. I have Meteos already, and I suck at it.
