I have been wanting to register a personal domain for some time - my thinking was to use it for email for official-type stuff (jobs, bills, etc), maybe throw my resume up there.

However, I've discovered that, due to the fact that I have an extremely common first name and an extremely common last name, there are no permutations of my first name/first initial/last name/last initial available. I'd prefer not to use an alias I already use online.

Is there anything that I could do that I haven't thought of yet? I've tried

[firstname] [lastname]
[firstinit] [lastname]
[firstname] [lastinit]

I was hoping for a .com/.net/.org, but none of them seem available. I've been using domai.nr to do searches.
